Spanish Point

Spanish Point Technologies is an innovative software company working with Copyright Management Organisations (CMO’s) since 2007. Spanish Point has built a matching application that can address data issues facing music rights organisations using the Microsoft Azure platform.

The high performance engine supports organisations to address metadata errors and ensure music royalties are tracked with accuracy. With music data volume continuing to grow, the robust cloud based application built in Microsoft Azure is autoscaling. This means it can accommodate rapid changes in repertoire size and incoming data. Built to manage all major sources of music data, the application is also highly configurable to account for specific needs.

On the 4th of February, 2019, The International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) has enlisted Dublin-based software company Spanish Point Technologies to upgrade the global information system of the ISWC (International Standard Musical Works Codes), the unique code that identifies musical works and links them to their creators.

Spanish Point upgrading the ISWC system will immensely help music creators and publishers, authors societies and digital services navigate their way better in the rapidly growing digital music market.
