Transparency in the Music Industry: Dealing with Poor Metadata

Music metadata is the collection of information that pertains to a song file, such as Artist Name, Producer, Writer, Song Title, Release Date, Genre or Track Duration, to name a few. Missing, bad or inconsistent metadata will turn into musicians not being paid for their work.
